OUR TEAM

Clara Youn is an E-RYT 200 licensed instructor who is also a founder of YUJ YOGA Toronto (RYS 200). Clara first found herself in a yoga practice to rebuild strength on her severely injured knee back when she was a teenager. She healed herself and found herself to be passionate about the magical sprit of yoga.

From an early age, she has been extremely passionate about physical activities. She practiced basic Kendo (traditional Japanese material art) at a younge age which gave her a steping stone to her yoga lifestyle. Over the last 11 years since she started yoga, she cultivated her inner stability and developed greater self-awareness which shifted her perspective in life. Providing yoga classes in South Korea and Canada, she realized that she enjoys helping students as well as other instructors on their journey of strengthening and balancing through yoga.

Clara’s 80 minutes power yoga class is her favourite as she leads her students in to her creative sequence of yoga movements based on great strengthening and power flow. With just couple of classes, students will feel the changes in their body flexibility and strength. The class will continue to help them meditate and listen to their mental energy and balance their emotions.

Clara continues her adventure of sharing her knowledge and passion about yoga. She participates in yoga volunteering services and always bring her positive energy to the local community. She will continue to bring forth a positive change in all her students.
